The campaign was developed for the retailer Grupo Éxito through dunnhumby media.
Challenge
Switching the traditional catalogs with offers from the CPGs to a digital format.
This change should ensure:
- Increase the customers reach
- Improve offers relevancy
- Budget optimization (less print costs)
Considering the previous needs, the E-flyer solution will let them impact shoppers in the same way as the traditional catalogs but with relevant communication offers.
Results
- 14% of uplift In sales Vs. control group in grocery retail.
- 35% uplift in sales Vs. control in the specific offers communicated.
- More than 5.4M personalized offers impacting customers in a relevant way according to their shopping preferences
The setup process
- This was a new product and we worked in sprint to make this work done. The squad was with a designer (myself), a Google consultant, a Product Manager, a Technical Solution Engineer and an Account Manager.
- I developed the dynamic creative ads on Google Web Designer using some CSS codes to animate the banner and uploaded them on Google Ad Manager and Google Studio.
- The team have done A/B tests with the creatives until we finally get to a final template that could be used automatically for other campaigns in the future avoiding too much a manual work.
